BÁNH MÌ TRÈS BON is excited to be unveiling their new White Rock location to the public on Tuesday June 7th, 2023 . Their restaurant not only has tremendous support from the local community, but has sparked interest from individuals across the globe!

Their second location can seat up to 50 guests, has a beautiful patio, and a full bar.

Lan Do, the owner and operator of Bánh Mì Très Bon, has created a new menu inspired by flavours she grew up with, and her travels to study traditional recipes and techniques. In every dish she has created, you will find the use of organic ingredients and free-range meats.

The new White Rock location will serve many of their classic dishes, including the phở with bone marrow, and feature new Specials that are exclusive to the White Rock location. Stay tuned for future Cocktail Specials, as this new location will also feature a full bar.

With the new expansion of the original restaurant, Lan is excited to showcase all the new ingredients and menu items. A few new dishes include Caramel Fish Sauce Brussel Sprouts, Duck Confit Bao, and more! To celebrate the opening the first 50 dine-in guests on June 7th will receive a free gift!

About Bánh Mì Très Bon: Bánh Mì Très Bon’s mission is to provide authentic Vietnamese, through traditional techniques and a return to classic recipes. Their bánh mì bread is house made, using a traditional recipe found in central Vietnam.

To achieve the original Bánh Mì bread, a trip to study and learn the traditional techniques was critical for their vision. The bread has a golden brown crust with a light and airy crumb; a scent that can only be achieved by the combination of hand rolling and shaping for each individual baguette.

Along with the bánh mì bread, serving authentic Vietnamese phở was integral when they opened the doors for Bánh Mì Très Bon. Their phở comes from the genuine techniques of central Vietnam, learned during a trip to study the classic recipes. Its golden broth can only be created by simmering beef bones, freshly toasted onions + ginger, and a variety of toasted spices for hours on end, until the perfect flavour emerges.
