This summer we made the move to the White Rock area. One huge disappointment for me was that I just could not find any good (IMHO) sushi places. All the places I found on Google that had decent ratings were disappointing. After exploring and trying quite a few places, I was starting to get discouraged and wondered if I'd have to trek back out to Richmond just for sushi! But then I discovered Sapporo Kitchen and I can finally say I've found my "go-to" sushi spot!  Thank you Sushi Gods!!

Turns out, the reason I like this place so much is because I've eaten their food before. The owners were also the original owners of Mega Sushi back in Richmond. We used to go there often until they sold it to the current owners. So glad they decided to open their new restaurant in my hood.

I have to say I loved everything about this place.  The friendly service, the quality of the food, and the price.  They even donate $0.25 from each bill in support of the Peace Arch Hospital.  So great when businesses give back to their community.  Way to go Sapporo Kitchen!

There are 10 different Lunch Sets offered.  This is the Teriyaki Set $11.00 and Chirashi Udon Set $13.00.  Great deal for all this food!

The Leo lunch set $14.00

Newest addition to their menu - Ramen Combos:  Miso, Shoyu, or Tonkotsu. Each ramen comes with a choice of rice or korroke. This is the Tonkotsu Ramen $12.00 which is my son's favourite.  Available both lunch and dinner hours.

A complimentary dish from the sushi chef! Isn't it beautiful? I pretty much ate this entire dish because Hubby was too full.  Lucky me!

So if you're in the White Rock/South Surrey area and looking for great, reasonably priced sushi, this is the place!
