Beta5 Chocolates' pop up shop is back again at 3345 Cambie Street this time showcasing their 'Springtime in Vancouver' collections until mid May. I attended their media event, April 7th, and was excited to see 2 new Easter cream puff creations:
The Peanut Butter Cup - contains dark chocolate, peanut butter mousse, finished with a peanut butter egg nestled in a dark chocolate nest.
The Lemon-Yogurt Cloud - made with lemon curd and yogurt pannacotta and topped with a baked meringue cloud.
I've always been a huge fan of Beta5 cream puffs and once again they've managed to create 2 more amazing flavours specifically for Easter. These will only be available at the pop up shop up until Easter weekend and then available at both locations (413 Industrial Avenue) from Good Friday until Easter Sunday.
I can honestly say Beta5 makes the best chocolates. These beautiful Peanut Butter Raindrops consists of dark chocolate eggs filled with house made peanut butter filling, seasoned with flaked Vancouver Island sea salt. They are addictive! Be warned!
Returning is their ice cream social and ice cream sandwiches. Below is the Rhubarb Crumble Sundae. Made with Rhubarb vanilla swirl & toasted oatmeal ice cream, rhubarb hibiscus compote, vanilla chantilly, strawberry marshmallows and granola crunch. Yum!! The next ice cream social will be held April 21 and May 6th starting at 7pm until they run out.
Ice Cream sandwiches are also now available. The current flavour is Carrot Cake. Different flavours will be offered throughout the season.
