Fairmont Pacfic Rim Afternoon Tea
One of my favourite things to do is to spend time indulging in Afternoon Tea. Whether it's with new or old friends, it's a lovely way to bring people together. A few days ago, foodie friend @indulge_with_mimi joined me at the beautiful Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel to experience their tea set. This is not your traditional tea, but tea with an Asian influence.
The tea is served in the Lobby Lounge where we were seated near the spectacular fireplace listening to live music. I could have stayed the entire day. Making it even more special is the holiday vibe throughout the lobby.
Double sided Fireplace creates a cozy, relaxed atmosphere.
The Versace inspired trees adds a level of luxury to the festive mood in the lobby.
To start our Afternoon Tea, we were presented with a box containing loose leaf tea samples to smell to make choosing our tea simpler. There were only 12 tea choices, but they all had a wonderful scent. I decided on the 'Flowery Earl Grey' & Mimi choose the 'Mad Hatter'.

Our first food item was the White Chocolate & Sour Cherry Scones which came with Devonshire cream, fruit compote, and fresh fruit.
Followed by a three tiered Tea set.
Top Tier:

Middle Tier:
- Pastries:
- Almond & Raspberry Cake
- Pistachio Macaron
- Lemon Fruit Tart

Bottom Tier:
- Tea Sandwiches served classically:
- Farm Raised Truffled Egg Salad
- Chilled Tiger Prawn
- Tandoor Roasted Chicken
Afternoon Tea is $35 per person. You have the option to add Sparking Wine for $50 pp. or Champagne for $64 pp. Tea is served daily from 2pm-4pm. Reservations are not required but recommended.
