Another iconic Paris landmark is the Palais Garnier, the home of the famous Paris Opera. I've always loved opera and was really hoping to see a performance, but there were no shows scheduled while we were in town. Was very sad, but that's just another excuse to come back and visit another time!

We settled for paying the 11 € visitors ticket to go inside and explore. It was well worth the price of admission. The inside of the opera house is so beautiful. Take a look at some of the photos we took and let me know if you agree!
